#instabattle2016 standing splits sotts press- This should go without saying- but if you can’t get in this position unloaded, don’t try loading it. (I’m getting better at my disclaimers, aren’t I?) Anyways- this was about as heavy as I felt comfortable going on my first time trying @lassesahlin ‘s challenge. As I was slowly controlling myself into the splits, this is about as low as I could get before my body was like “LOL- you’re not Jon Call (aka @jujimufu ) so please stop. Just- stop. That’s enough.” I think with a little time I could improve it. This instabattle year is already awesome, even after a week. Some good stability/mobility challenges (and one where people get to start with their pants off). Keep it up people. #hunterfitness #doyoueveninternetbattle P.s. This is going to have to become a thing- internet comment of the day on one of my videos. I don’t feel the need to call the person out- but sharing their comments anonymously sounds like a good option. And I quote – “you’re awesome but seriously the barbell is horrible for the hips and spine. SHAME on you for giving into the bar.” Well then. Thank you, Internet land.
